Results from Hamburg

On 1 July at the Hamburger Staatsoper the Balletttage festival came to a close with a grand gala concert. One of the highlights of the festival came with the ballet Dialogue, which was staged last year by John Neumeier as part of the project Diana Vishneva: Dialogues. Since its premiere at the Mariinsky Theatre, Diana Vishneva and Thiago Bordin’s “dialogue” has “become stronger and acquired fresh nuances.” The choreographic depth and the inspiration of the performers have been met with unfailing applause from German audiences.
